GREENLINK MECHANICS

Performing repairs of diesel and electric vehicles and engines.

Maintaining all equipment on the vehicles, such as radios and fareboxes.

Conducting diagnostics.

Diesel Bus Mechanic

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Over four (4) years of experience in hands-on vehicle repair to include at least one (1) year of experience working on transit buses or diesel engines.

Entry Level Diesel Mechanic

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six (6) months of prior automotive repair experience.
  • OR completion of a technical automotive or diesel technology training/certification program.
  • OR completion of a City of Greenville mechanic internship.
• Completion of mechanic competency classification test at minimum of level I within six (6) months of hire.
